Dr. Damien Dauphinée
Damien M. Dauphinée, DPM, FACFAS, CWS, FCCWS, FAPWCA is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also board certified in Wound Management by the American Academy of Wound Management. Dr. Dauphinée (pronounced Daw-fin-ay) has special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma, as well as, peripheral nerve injuries. Dr. Dauphinée sub specializes in peripheral nerve pathology affecting the foot and ankle and offers surgical techniques to restore sensation and relieve the pain associated with certain types of peripheral neuropathy. He served as President of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons in 2009. In 2005, Dr. Dauphinée had his research on peripheral nerve injuries in diabetic patients published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Recently, he was chosen to write the chapter on peripheral nerve surgery in diabetic patients for the latest edition of McGlamry’s Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery, commonly known as the preeminent surgical textbook for foot and ankle surgeons. In 1999, he co-authored the chapter on “Heel Pain” for the previous edition of the Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Dauphinée completed a mini-fellowship in external fixation techniques at the Russian ILIZAROV Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics (RISC-RTO) in Kurgan, Russia. During this intensive 6 week program he mastered techniques developed by Russian orthopaedic surgeons for treating complex musculoskeletal deformities in the lower extremity using the Ilizarov method. Dr. Dauphinée is credentialed in Hyperbaric Medicine and is currently Co-Medical Director for the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at North Texas Hospital in Denton, TX. His wound care practice has won industry awards for outcomes in chronic wound care and limb salvage and was awarded an educational grant by Smith + Nephew in 2003. He was awarded the Young Practitioner of the Year by the Texas Podiatric Medical Association in 2005 and received the Merit Award in 2008 for service to the Association. Dr. Dauphinée lectures nationally and internationally on the subjects of diabetic limb salvage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for chronic wounds, and peripheral nerve pathology and treatment. He is a founding partner and serves on the Board of Directors for North Texas Hospital in Denton. Dr. Dauphinée has been practicing in Denton County since 1999 and is a member of the medical staff at North Texas Hospital in Denton, Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, Denton Regional Medical Center, the Medical Center of Lewisville, Baylor Medical Center in Carrollton, Integrity Transitional Hospital, Atrium Medical Center and Mayhill Rehab Hospital. He is married to Rachelle, a jewelry designer, and they live in Argyle, TX with their son, Alexander and dog Diablo.

Nicole D. Hancock, DPM, AACFAS, FAPWCA
Nicole D. Hancock, DPM, AACFAS, FAPWCA received her podiatric medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami. She completed a three year residency program at the Houston Podiatric Foundation in Houston, TX where she received her surgical training and focused extensively on forefoot and rear foot surgery as well as diabetic wound care and limb salvage.
Dr. Hancock is a native Texan who completed her undergraduate degree at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She joined Dr. Dauphinée’s practice in July of 2006. Dr. Hancock is a board certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is also Physician Certified in Wound Care by the Council for Medical Education and Testing (CMET). She is a member of the medical wound care team at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at North Texas Hospital. She is on staff at multiple hospitals including North Texas Hospital in Denton, Denton Regional Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, Medical Center of Lewisville, Integrity Transitional Hospital, Atrium Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital of Flower Mound, and Mayhill Rehab Hospital. Dr. Hancock is a DPM Mentor and is actively involved in Diabetes Foot Care Education in the North Texas community. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr Hancock treats a wide range of foot conditions and has a special interest in pediatric and geriatric patients. She resides in the Lewisville area with her husband Jason and their two dogs, Roxie and Rylee.
Lesley Richey-Smith, DPM received her podiatric degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA., where she graduated 8th out of her class and was inducted into the PiDelta National Honor Society. She then completed a three year surgical residency program at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville in Greenville, Texas. The program specializes in forefoot, rear foot and ankle reconstruction and trauma.
Dr. Richey-Smith was born and raised in Oklahoma; she completed her undergraduate work at Kansas Wesleyan University. Once she completed her residency at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville, she went on to become an attending physician at that hospital where she participated in teaching the resident doctors for four years. Dr. Richey-Smith is a Board Certified foot surgeon by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Richey-Smith has a special interest in flatfoot reconstruction in pediatric patients, as well as in older patients who have pain in their feet secondary to their flatfoot. She also specializes in surgical reconstruction for patients who have had a previous trauma. She has a strong interest in teaching and mentoring, which she plans to continue as she moves to the area. Dr. Richey-Smith is coming to this area with her husband of 12 years and her two children.
Janine Harnois - Front Office Coordinator
Janine is originally from California. She started working in the Medical Field after attending Medical Assistant School in 1988. She has worked in many different specialties including OB-GYN and Ophthalmology, before moving to Texas in 1999. She started off as the Front Office Coordinator at Medical Center of Lewisville's Comprehensive Wound Healing Center shortly after moving to Texas, where she first met Dr. Dauphinée. They developed a wonderful working relationship and in 2004 Janine joined his Practice as his Office Supervisor in the Lewisville office. In July 2007, she was promoted to Practice Administrator of Complete Foot and Ankle Care of North Texas, PA. She lives in Lewisville with her husband David and their children Jason and Shayla. She is also involved in the PTA and volunteers her time for school events. Their extended family includes their dogs Pepper and CoCo.
Cassie Smith, NRCMA,
PMAC – Surgery Scheduling Coordinator
Cassie Smith, NRCMA, PMAC has been with Dr. Dauphinée's practice since July, 2004. She received her Certification as a Medical Assistant from High Tech Institute in September, 2004 where she also became certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She went on to become a certified Podiatric Medical Assistant in January, 2005. Cassie became certified to perform Neurosensory Testing with the PSSD and was also certified as a Podiatric Medical Radiology Assistant in November, 2004. She began as Dr. Dauphinée's Front Desk Receptionist and 4 months later became his primary Medical Assistant. She is currently the Surgery Scheduling Coordinator and PSSD Technician. Cassie lives in The Colony with her 2 kids, Dakota and Chloe.
Katina Butler - Business Office/Denton, Account Receivable Coordinator
Katina Butler joined our Business Office in July 2008. She "fell" into the medical field in 2001 and continues to blossom in the area with 11+ years of Healthcare billing and management experience. Her goal is to provide the highest level of service, while assisting patients in understanding the often complicated and evolving world of medical insurance. Katina is a native Memphian (TN) and is blessed with a beautiful family (husband and 3 precious boys). Acceptance to the UNT School of Music's Vocal Performance Department brought her to the North Texas area over a decade ago, where she still resides today. Music has always been her passion and outlet, so you might see her performing or speaking around town at various events. She also teaches private voice. Katina loves family life and is very involved in supporting her husband and children in their many activities and aspirations.
Michelle Ellenberg, RMA, NCPRT - Medical Assistant
Michelle joined our office staff in June 2008. She attended ATI for her medical assistant training and was an intern at our Lewisville office before being hired as a medical assistant. Michelle is certified in PADnet Vascular testing and is trained as a Podiatric Medical Radiology Assistant. Prior to her medical assisting career, she was a supervisor for 3 years at a well known retail store. She is a recently relocated Floridian and lives in the Carrollton area with her husband, her daughter and two dogs. Her interests are spending quality time with her 7 year old daughter, reading and traveling.
Eddie Reagan - RMA
Eddie jointed our staff in December 2010 as an intern medical assistant. He served 7 years in the U.S. Marine Corp as an aircraft rescue fire fighter. He received his medical assistant training at PCI, and is nationally certified as a Registered Medical Assistant. Eddie resides in Denton with his wife Marisa and their children Samuel and Alissa. He enjoys spending all of his free time with his family and his beloved Pomeranian-Foxy. He is also an avid videogame athlete.
Megan McCammond
Megan started with Complete Foot and Ankle part time in January 2010 and became the full time check out receptionist in September 2011. She lives in Corinth, and enjoys spending her free time cooking, reading, and hanging out with friends.
Johnathan McIver - Practice Administrator
Johnathan McIver joined Complete Foot and Ankle Care as Practice Administrator in December of 2011. With over 8 years experience in healthcare, and finance Johnathan applies his expertise in data-driven and strategic planning. Prior to joining Complete Foot and Ankle Care, Johnathan was a supervisor of the emergency department registration at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound. Johnathan attended University of North Texas and received his bachelors degree in General Business, he is currently perusing his MBA with a focus in Healthcare Management and will have that finished in mid 2012.
