Dr. Damien Dauphinee, DPM, FACFAS, CWS
Damien M. Dauphinée, DPM, FACFAS, CWS, FCCWS, FAPWCA is board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. In addition, he is one of less than 500 of the 17,800 licensed podiatric physicians in the United States achieving board certification status in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also board certified in Wound Management by the American Academy of Wound Management. Dr. Dauphinée (pronounced Daw-fin-ay) has special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma, as well as, peripheral nerve injuries. He is one of only approximately 400 surgeons in the world trained by noted plastic and hand surgeon A. Lee Dellon, MD in surgical techniques to restore sensation and relieve the pain associated with peripheral neuropathy (primarily diabetic peripheral neuropathy). In 2005, Dr. Dauphinée had his research on peripheral nerve injuries in diabetic patients published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Recently, he was appointed to write the chapter on peripheral nerve surgery in the upcoming latest edition of McGlamry’s Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery, commonly known as the preeminent surgical textbook for foot and ankle surgeons. In 1999, he co-authored the chapter on “Heel Pain” for the previous edition of the Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Dauphinée recently completed a mini-fellowship in external fixation techniques at the Russian ILIZAROV Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics (RISC-RTO) in Kurgan, Russia. During this intensive 6 week program he mastered techniques developed by Russian orthopaedic surgeons for treating complex musculoskeletal deformities in the lower extremity using the Ilizarov method. Dr. Dauphinée is credentialed in Hyperbaric Medicine and is currently Co-Medical Director for the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at North Texas Hospital in Denton, TX. His wound care practice has won industry awards for outcomes in chronic wound care and limb salvage and was awarded an educational grant by Smith + Nephew in 2003. He was awarded the Young Practitioner of the Year by the Texas Podiatric Medical Association in 2005. Dr. Dauphinée lectures nationally and internationally on the subjects of diabetic limb salvage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for chronic wounds, and peripheral neuropathy. He is a founding partner and serves on the Board of Directors for North Texas Hospital in Denton. Dr. Dauphinée has been practicing in Denton County since 1999 and is a member of the medical staff at North Texas Hospital in Denton, Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, Denton Regional Medical Center, the Medical Center of Lewisville, and Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton. He is married to Rachelle, a jewelry designer, and they live in Flower Mound with their son, Alexander..

Dr. Nicole Hancock
Nicole D. Hancock, D.P.M. received her podiatric medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami. She completed her internship at the Houston Podiatric Foundation in Houston, TX. She then went on to complete her surgical residency training at the Houston Podiatric Foundation where she focused extensively on forefoot and rearfoot surgery as well as diabetic wound care and limb salvage. Dr. Hancock is a native Texan who completed her undergraduate degree at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She joined Dr. Dauphinee at his Lewisville and Denton offices in July of 2006. She resides in the area with her husband Jason and their two dogs, Roxie and Rylee. Dr. Hancock also sees patients at the North Texas Hospital Center for Wound Healing where she treats diabetic foot ulcerations.
Dr. Jason Hancock
Dr. Hancock was born and raised in a small town in Georgia. He graduated from Valdosta State University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree. He completed his professional medical education at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, where he also met his wife. Residency training brought Dr. Hancock to Texas, where he trained at one of the top programs in the United States. His training centered extensively on forefoot and rearfoot surgery as well as diabetic wound care and limb salvage. After working for an orthopedic group in the Hurst area for one year, he joined Complete Foot and Ankle Care of North Texas. Dr. Hancock’s practice encompasses the complete realm of podiatric medical care from the pediatric patient to the geriatric patient. He is now seeing patients in the Denton, Lewisville and Bartonville offices.
Lindsey Lee, EMTP
Lindsey Lee, EMTP has been with Dr. Dauphinee’s practice since January, 2006. She is a Licensed and Nationally Registered Paramedic and is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, International Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Emergency Care. Lindsey currently attends classes to receive her degree as a Registered Nurse. She hopes in the future to have a career with Care Flight in addition to working at Complete Foot and Ankle Care of North Texas. Lindsey became certified to perform Neurosensory Testing in January, 2007. She is currently the Front Office Coordinator and PSSD Technician for the Lewisville office. She lives in the Denton area with her Mom and 3 dogs Mickey, Shadow and Sheba.
Cassie Smith, NRCMA, PMAC
Cassie Smith, NRCMA, PMAC has been with Dr. Dauphinee’s practice since July, 2004. She received her Certification as a Medical Assistant from High Tech Institute in September, 2004 where she also became certified in Advanced Cardic Life Support. She went on to become a certified Podiatric Medical Assistant in January, 2005. Cassie became certified to perform Neurosensory Testing and was also certified as a X-Ray Technician in November, 2004. She started out with Dr. Dauphinee as a Receptionist and 4 months later became his Medical Assistant. She is currently the Office Supervisor an PSSD Technician in Lewisville. Cassie lives in The Colony with her 2 kids, Dakota and Chloe.
