Damien M. Dauphinée, DPM, FACFAS, FAENS, FACCWS, CWS-P, is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also board certified in Wound Management by the American Board of Wound Management. Dr. Dauphinée has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma, as well as peripheral nerve injuries. He is a current Fellow and served as President of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons in 2009. Dr. Dauphinée serves as faculty for the AENS Fundamental and Advanced Peripheral Nerve workshops, training surgeons to treat a variety of peripheral nerve pathology.
Dr. Dauphinée completed a mini-fellowship in external fixation techniques at the Russian ILIZAROV Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics (RISC-RTO) in Kurgan, Russia, using those techniques as Medical Director of Limb Preservation for the Comprehensive Wound Center at The Heart Hospital Baylor in Denton, TX. He was awarded the Young Practitioner of the Year by the Texas Podiatric Medical Association in 2005 and received the Merit Award in 2008 for service to the Association. Dr. Dauphinée lectures nationally and internationally on the subjects of diabetic limb salvage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for chronic wounds, and peripheral nerve pathology and treatment.

Dr. Dauphinée is a Tough Mudder (www.toughmudder.com) completing the Austin race in 2012 in about 3.5 hours (with two broken ribs) and lived to tell about it. He also is a Hollywood actor per his cinematic debut in the role of “Cabrito Cook” in the Robert Rodriguez film "Machete Kills" which opened in theaters nationwide on October 11th, 2013. The film stars Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Lady Gaga, Sophia Vergara, Michelle Rodriquez, Mel Gibson, Carlos Estevez (Charlie Sheen), Antonio Banderas, Amber Heard and Demian Bechir.

Lesley Richey-Smith, DPM, FACFAS, was born and raised in Oklahoma. She completed her undergraduate work at Kansas Wesleyan University. She then completed a three-year surgical residency program at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville (Texas). The program specializes in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Richey-Smith became an attending physician there, where she participated in teaching the resident doctors for four years.
Dr. Richey-Smith received her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated eighth in her class and was inducted into the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Dr. Richey-Smith is Board Certified in Foot Surgery, and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Richey-Smith has a special interest in pediatric flatfoot reconstruction, as well as older patients who have foot pain secondary to flat feet and arthritic conditions. She also specializes in surgical reconstruction for patients who have had previous trauma. In addition, she has a strong interest in teaching and mentoring. Dr. Richey-Smith re-located to the Denton area in 2012 with her husband and their two children.
